First Benz brand bus
In 1921 his Benz omnibus operates for the first time between Weiswampach & Troisvierges.

Second and third bus
In 1922, a second MAN brand vehicle was put into operation. In 1940, Stephany Nic still owns a 17-seat Renault minibus, which was mostly driven by René, Nic's son.

Takeover of the Schmitz company
1949: René Stephany takes over the management of the company from his father.
New lines such as Hoffelt - Troisvierges & Hoffelt/Hachiville - Clervaux are added.

The CFL hands over the line to Stephany
At the beginning of the 50s the CFL (National Railways of Luxembourg) closes down the Troisvierges to Wilwerdange railway line.
All lines in the direction of Basbellain, Hautbellain and Wilwerdange are taken over by the Stephany company.

Takeover by Alain and Theo Stephany
At the beginning of the 1960s, takeover of the Holler-based Jodocy company. In the late 60s René's two sons, Alain and Theo, become active in the family business.
60er
Foundation of the company Stephany S.àr.l.
In May 1970 the Dasbourg Pont - Goodyear line is added and the company is expanded. On 30 June 1978 René Stephany and his two sons found the bus company Autobus Stephany S.à r.l.

New company headquarters
In 2004 the company relocates to the newly established Troisvierges industrial zone. Here a new depot was built with space for 18 buses, a modern workshop with a vehicle hoist, and a fully automated washing line that operates using collected rainwater. The basement accommodates a 200,000-litre collecting tank for this purpose.

Stephany - Today
Today the company is in its fourth generation. Joëlle, Tom and Steve have taken over as managers of the company.
